Traditional Gin Bothy Tasting Experience with Ploughman's

Overview

Minutes from Glamis Castle, discover a gin-lover’s paradise, indulging your love for fine spirits with a Gin Bothy Tasting Experience and Bothy Ploughman's Platter.

Taking place in one of the equally rustic and cosy The Byre or The Stable, join the experts for a tutored tasting of three full pours of award-winning gins, served with recommended mixers and garnish. Choose either the Classic tasting with the most popular gins or the Seasonal Tasting, ideal for frequent visitors. Uncover the story of the Gin Bothy via a video presentation as well as beautifully illustrated tasting mats.

Top things off with a delicious Bothy Ploughman’s Platter, offering a selection of cheeses, oatcakes, homemade chutney, olives, fresh fruit, pickled onions, and crisps. Visit the two visitor rooms, ‘Bothy Beginnings,’ to track Gin Bothy’s journey from traditional homemade jams to creating small batch gins, spirits and ciders, and ‘Bothy Tales,’ showcasing the wider history of Scottish bothies.
