Drive a real full-size digger at Diggerland. This exciting UK adventure park has four locations across England and allows adults and children as young as 3 and over 90cm to drive a real digger – with no need for a licence. Having booked in advance make your way to your chosen Diggerland in County Durham, Kent or West Yorkshire for an exciting day out like never before.
There are approximately 18 incredible digger-themed attractions for you to discover and enjoy.With fun for all ages, you will enjoy admission to the park, plus unlimited rides and drives all day. What happens on the day?
When you arrive at your chosen Diggerland location, you will be granted admission to the theme park where you can enjoy a day of exciting activities. You will receive unlimited rides and drives all day from when the park opens at 10.00 until it closes at 17.00 (16.00 in February). Challenge yourself to Skittles, dig for buried treasure and hook the dippy ducks.
You can also race go karts and even if you are under 17 and don’t have a driving licence you can still enjoy some of the exciting driving experiences at Diggerland.
Participant guidelines
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
- Visitors under 90cm tall enter free of charge
- Height and age restrictions apply on all rides
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
Availability
The parks are open at weekends and bank holidays from mid February to the end of October as well as seven days a week during most local school holidays. All parks close during November, December and January. Please check with the supplier to confirm the exact opening dates.
We recommend you book at least two weeks in advance to ensure a date is available. All bookings are subject to availability.
You are free to spend anytime from 10.00 to 17.00 (16.00 in February) at the venue.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Was a good day out for children
I found some staff was miserable. One staff in particular was quite rude to my daughter. And they seemed under staffed. Overall kids really enjoyed the day. It's money worth for how long your there for.
