If you’ve ever seen the glorious food coming from the Belmond Le Manoir kitchens of Raymond Blanc on television and wished you could be there smelling and savouring then here is your chance! With a One Day Course at Raymond Blanc’s Cookery School at Belmond Le Manoir, Raymond’s Head tutor Mark Peregrine passes on amazing new skills which will make you the culinary star. Choose from a range of workshops from Bread-making to Sauces for Courses and Learn to Cook in a Day for novices.
Mark has over 30 years’ experience and his passion for honouring fantastic food with effective technique is infectious. Your course will take place in the luxurious surroundings of the hotel Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saison, where you can enjoy the beautiful setting and tuck into a delicious meal with your fellow chefs at lunchtime.

What happens on the day?
You will need to arrive at the beautiful Belmond Le Manoir by 08.45 to check in for your class which will start at 09.00. You will be taught by experienced and talented chefs during your 6 hour course. Throughout the day you'll gain an abundance of knowledge and skills in your chosen course, whether it is desserts, patisserie or nutrition.
At lunchtime you will be invited to sit down with your fellow chefs and enjoy a delicious lunch in the stunning hotel. Your class will end around 16.30-16.45 and you will leave with a course certificate.

Availability
This experience is available on selected dates Monday to Friday throughout the year.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow up to 8 hours in total with 6 hours' tuition.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Absolutely fantastic!
This was a, very delayed due to covid, Christmaa gift from my husband which I had been looking forward to for such a long time. The wait was totally worth it! As you might expect from Le Manoir this day was of the highest standard. Mark and Becca were professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind and made my day outstanding. I learnt such a lot and had a wonderful time doing so. I cannot recommend this to you highly enough.

Exceeded all my expectations by miles!
I have been to a few cookery lessons but this was just exceptional.The lesson was delivered by Becca to a small group of 6, it was so informative and fun.Everything was beautifully organised and whilst we cooked 6 desserts, we were treated to a fantastic lunch as well as a walk around the grounds and in particular their outstanding organic garden! I got to go back home with two gorgeous cakes. I can't think of a better present for someone who loves cooking. The memory will stay with you forever!

Superb day
The ultimate cookery course in beautiful surroundings. Very relaxed style of teaching, with wonderful chefs, no previous experience necessary . A mix of demonstrations and practicals & a fabulous tour of the kitchen gardens. I loved every single minute.

Fantastic day in every way.
We had a fabulous day of teaching with Mikey assisted by Becky. Clear demonstrations and explanations with the opportunity to try try out some of the recipes and even take home the cake we made. We were also able to walk around the gardens and see how the vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs used in the cooking are grown. We will definitely be going back.

Manoir cooking course
Fantastic day from start to finish . Fun and informative with loads of excellent tips to help cooks of all standards . Small group of 10 , informal atmosphere and demonstrations very clear and plenty of hands on experience . Fantastic lunch with wine and lovely biscuits and cake throughout the day I had been worried it may be intimidating but the whole experience was relaxed and very friendly . Added bonus of a tour through the gardens . I would highly recommend this course .

Blanc Vite Cookery Course at Le Manoir
An excellent day spent in the Raymond Blanc Cookery school. The tutor, Becka, was first rate and it was good to see Mark Peregrine, the head of school, cheerfully and uncomplainingly clearing up but no doubt also keeping a careful eye on the tutor! Based on my experience of having previously done the Kitchen Secrets course, my only criticisms are that the course was relatively simple and I expected something a little more challenging, perhaps one or two more dishes and a slightly fuller day. .

Raymond Blanc cookery school
I can’t recommend this enough. I learnt so much and tasted and cooked some delicious food. The Chefs made the day, I was nervous to start with, being with such experienced and highly talented Chefs but they put us at ease, demonstrating in a chilled , friendly , humorous but professional way. I can’t wait to do another course.

Great Day - Lovely Experience
The patisserie day was wonderful. Rebecca was great - gave us some very useful tips - nothing was too much bother. Small group of 10 also allowed for hands on experience and also time for asking lots of questions. Treated to a nice buffet lunch with wine and a mini tour of the gardens. got to take home some lovely desserts. Would highly recommend.

Learning from the experts
I had a wonderful day at Raymond Blanc's Cookery School at Le Manoir. It was such a treat to spend a day in the kitchen learning from the experts and getting a glimpse behind the scenes. Our tutor, Rebecca, was excellent and her passion for cooking and food was infectious. She taught us new skills and it great to find out new ways of baking some of the basics that can be used to create exciting new desserts. I loved it all. Thank you.

A fabulous day
The days cookery course at Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons was the perfect birthday gift. It was a wonderful day, so many different aspects to appreciate - demonstrtions, cooking, a tour round the organic vegetable garden and Le Manoir itself. Very well organised and a great tutor.

Great day, learnt a lot
I was bought this experience for a birthday present and loved it. The day is well run, informal and very interesting. Mark Peregrine really made the day, he has a huge amount of experience and a good few interesting anecdotes. He's also a great teacher and didn't just stand and regurgitate the recipes. Would highly recommend this to anyone who has a interesting cooking and wants to expand their skills.

Fantastic experience
This was one of my most memorable days. Le Manoir is beautiful and the Cookery School offers a fantastic insight to what happens behind the scenes. Michael John was an exceptional teacher - passionate, light-hearted and well humored; an absolute credit to the Raymond Blanc establishment. Endless tips and great food cooked/eaten. Amazing place, friendly staff, great experience!
Had an amazing experience at Le Manoir aux quat'saisons cookery school. Michael John & the team were extremely friendly and welcoming. As well as giving lots of useful hints, tips and techniques to improve my skills in the kitchen, we were also given a tour around the entire estate including the amazing fruit, veg & herb gardens! The best bit? Throughout the day we were actively encouraged to eat everything we cooked! Now armed with a sound knowledge of the basics, I’m a better cook as a result!

Fantastic Culinary Experience
I attended the Raymond Blanc Cookery School and found the whole day a fantastic experience. The venue, the food and ingredients supplied and the tuition was superb. The best cookery class I have attended by far.

Fantastic day - well worth it!
Small group of four lovely ladies - provided with great tuition and general advice by Becky, our chef. Lovely surroundings. Exceptional food and plenty of it. And a nice tour of the vegetable and herb gardens. Will definitely look at other courses as a result!

Brilliant day
This was a birthday present so the cost was not a issue. The patisserie course was really well organised in every respect. We were taught to make lemon cake, lemon tart, Frasier,raspberry souffle ,macron and lemon& basil sorbet. we had a really nice lunch with wine and a tour of the garden. If i could afford it i would like to go every week to learn something new. Unfortunately i can't. Mark the chef was fantastic and if money isn't an object I would recommend it to anyone

Best gift ever 😊
I have a real passion for cooking so this was an amazing experience- Le Manoir is incredible and the staff are so lovely. The cream over the coffee would have been to meet Monsieur Blanc, maybe next time! :-)

A wonderful learning experience
Learnt loads and free to ask questions and take photos/ video. Sadly no longer able to take away the food as told I was able to and no longer giving away the free knife. But did get to keep the apron. Be ready to eat loads!
