Overview

The meerkats at Paradise Wildlife Park are incredibly friendly and sociable creatures and this is your opportunity to get that much closer to them. You’ll be accompanied by an experienced keeper into the meerkat’s enclosure so you can hand feed them their snacks and become their new friend.

You should definitely bring your camera and expect to be climbed upon. Your voucher grants you access to the rest of the park so you can do more exploring and view the rest of the fabulous animals that Paradise Wildlife Park has to offer.

What happens on the day?

You will arrive at the Park where you will be provided with a welcome drink. One of the Park’s trained animal keepers will escort you to the Meerkat enclosure, where you will receive a health and safety briefing. You will then spend some time inside the Meerkat enclosure, with the trained keeper, feeding the friendly Meerkats by hand.

You will be given lots of interesting information about these extremely curious animals and receive a presentation certificate as a memento of an unforgettable encounter. Participants are welcome to arrive early and stay until the park closes to enjoy other attractions and animals at Paradise Wildlife Park.

Participant guidelines

Minimum age: 10 (under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult)
Women in the early stages of pregnancy should consult their doctor or midwife before booking
Although spectators will not be able to accompany the voucher holder during their experience, they may pay normal admission prices to enter the park and enjoy the other attractions and animals
Disabled access is available, for further information please discuss with the supplier at the time of booking

Availability

This experience is available on selected dates throughout the year.

We recommend you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Your whole experience will last for approximately 30 minutes but you are welcome to arrive early to enjoy other attractions and animals in the Park.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
