Introductory Cookery Masterclass at Ann's Smart School of Cookery
Overview
Head to a fabulous introductory class at one of Ann's Smart School of Cookery’s three locations, to enjoy 2 hours of guided cooking with a professional chef.
Everyone will be asked to join the chef in small groups. At times it’ll be hands-on at the front of the class, with a few members of your group and a chef by your side, while at others you’ll get to watch the chef and some of the other participants cook so you can enjoy taster dishes of their labour before attempting it yourself at home.
You’ll have a choice of classes from a variety of themes and will spend your time gaining tips and tricks from the expert during your masterclass. The owner, Ann Hood, was a previous contestant on BBC’s Masterchef so you are guaranteed an experience full of cookery passion and quality ingredients. You are sure to find a class to suit you and will leave feeling confident and inspired.

Excellent cooking course
The whole experience was excellent. It probably helped that there were only three of us, so we had plenty of opportunities to get involved. The lady running the course, "Pity", was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to talk to. The ingredients were of a very high standard and all three dishes were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend their courses to any standard of amateur cook.

Excellent experience
Everything was exactly as I hoped it would be, I was delighted with the experience. Directions to the venue could be more detailed as I found it difficult to find.

First Cookery Class Experience
This is my first cooking class I have attended, and for someone who knows how to cook, this was definitely worthwhile. The class teacher was very fun and interactive and she always kept us engaged and involved with the cooking. She was also very informative with the scientific elements with food, which is very important for me. The food was great, the actual class was friendly and the food was yummy...definitely booking my next class!!!

Cookery masterclass
Got this as a birthday present. Made to feel welcome from the start. Everything explained well. Hands on experience is that everyone gets to do a little bit of the cooking. Three course was not what I expected in the way that it was just tasters from the dish that was being cooked as opposed to sitting down afterwards and having it served. Ate tasters after being cooked., and as watching the next dish being prepared and cooked. The overall experience was good and got some tips along the way also. Would recommend and have booked some.more on the.strength of this one.

Pattisserie class
This has to be on the worst cooking classes i have been to. Firstly, i had tried to call them a number of times prior to the class but no one ever answered the phone. The class was also at 9am, i think that this type of class really should be done in the afternoon as to avoid feeling really sick from all the sugar you have just had in one morning. I have also never been to a class where you dont get to take away what you have made in the class. I found the class way too big, with 18 people in it you get to do much but more watch as you take it in turns to make different elements. The only positive here, were the friendly staff.
