Exceeded expectations
The process of redeeming my voucher was very easy, and everything went smoothly on the day. There was more to see at Blenheim than I had expected, although access to the private apartments was not included in the voucher deal. Although the car park was packed, the grounds were so extensive that no where was crowded. Lunch at The Crown was pleasant; service was very quick and friendly, and the portions were generous and tasty, though the menu was rather limited.

Superb Day Out
We spent the morning at Blenheim Palace which is a fantastic place that really needs a full day to see most of the House and Gardens so will almost certainly return again to have a better look around and appreciate the estate. We than had the 2 course lunch at the Crown in Woodstock which was also very good. The menu was very good as was the Service, I had the meatballs and a Pizza which were both excellent! I would thoroughly recommend this as a day out!

Wonderful day out
This gift was bought as a retirement present for me, Blenheim was astounding my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food at The Crown was ideal for me but my husband who likes plainer food struggled with the limited menu. The only down side was that if we had paid the entrance fee and for the meal ourselves it would have been slightly cheaper than the gift voucher. This also meant we didn't qualify for the free annual pass from Blenheim which would have been lovely.

Superb day
Both the meal in the pub and the Blenheim palace ticket were great. The palace is spectacular and an afternoon is not enough to fully appreciate and do everything. We stayed for the pop-up Shakespeare and had a wonderful evening.

Blenheim - brilliant
We were treated to a day visit to Blenheim and lunch in The Crown in Woodstock. The house and grounds were stunning and we were welcomed by friendly pub staff and served a delightful and tasty meal. Sometimes a ‘voucher’ impacts on service but definitely not on this day. A really enjoyable break

Excellent Day
Alough it was raining on the day, once we got into Blenheim Palace it was the most wonderful experience. Even the rain did not stop us walking around the gardens. Excellent experience. Lunch at the crown was excellent too. staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious.

A day to remember
This was a great day out. We arrived at Blenheim palace and found a member of staff who was able to give us directions to The Crown in Woodstock, where our lunch was booked for 1pm. We visited the pleasure gardens and butterfly house first, then walked to Woodstock, which is approx a 10 min walk from the Palace. Our meal was very good and staff were very attentiveWe took the lake walk back to the palace which didn’t disappoint. The audio guide was a great addition and would definitely recommend.

Lovely day out
Blenheim Palace and its gardens and grounds are just so beautiful. Staff all very helpful and nice - being a saturday very busy with coach parties etc but you can escape them! Parked in the palace grounds first took a look around the house and then walked into Woodstock (10 minutes) for a delicious lunch. Staff very good at the Crown. Then a lovely walk around the grounds of Blenheim. All makes out for a fab day.

Fabulous day out
Brilliant day out for myself and my husband. It was a present for long service from work and Blenheim Palace didn’t disappoint . It was informative, interesting and the most beautiful place to visit. The staff were helpful and friendly and the audio guides made the palace come to life. The gardens are beautiful and restorative, so peaceful to walk within. The lunch at the Woodstock Crown was fabulous, the food was superb and the staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend. Thankyou

A fun day out
We enjoyed our day at Blenheim and lunch at The Crown was excellent. We ended up walking a lot though as it wasn't really worth moving the car but it was a bit of a walk to the Crown and then we walked back again as we hadn't had time to do everything at Blenheim before lunch! Comfortable shoes are needed for this experience!

Blenheim Palace and Meal for Two in Woodstock
The palace is really beautiful with the most amazing surroundings. We were there on a Saturday and it didn’t feel too busy at all. I would imagine it would be beautiful once all the flowers come out in the gardens. We parked very easily but arrived as the palace was opening. We left our car there while we walked to the Cock Inn in Woodstock for our 2 course meal. There were about 4 choices on each course and the food was delicious. The staff and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent
Very good day at Blenheim Palace helped by courteous staff, which there were many, and provision of assistance as my wife is wheelchair bound. Internal areas accessible although the external walkways are mostly of loose stone and not that easy for wheelchair use. Lunch at The Crown from a small menu was good value and again very good service. Overall a good experience helped with good weather.

Blenheim Palace and Meal at the Crown
Blenheim Palace is well worth a visit, even in Covid times where you have to queue up more. The upstairs tour of timed rooms with talking manequins is a little dated but OK. We could't see the Formal Gardens as another private event was on, which was a shame Meal at the Crown was nice with friendly service

Blenheim Palace and lunch at the Crown
Went in February the weather was lovely and added to a very pleasant time at Blenhaiem Palace. Very interesting, would like to spend more time at the palace and at the grounds, however the lunch was booked for 13-00 so had to curtail the visit. There was an option for converting your ticket into an annual pass however this did not include Virgin Experience customers. Make plenty of time to find a parking space in Woodstock as parking is limited. Food was good but service slow.

Blenheim Palace and The Crown
The Palace is lovely and the grounds are well worth exploring. The Crown is conveniently situated so you can nip out for lunch and return to complete your visit but we were disappointed with the menu choices. Saying that, what we ordered was well cooked and well presented and the staff were lovely. I’d say pack a nice picnic instead.

A good all round day
Although the weather was bad there was plenty to see and enjoy in the Palace. The staff were informative and helpful. We did manage to walk through part of the grounds e.g. to see the formal gardens, Churchill walk and the Harry Potter tree. The experience however requires at least two visits to appreciate the whole of Blemheim. The meal at the Crown was excellent and the service good. Staff were friendly but not overbearing.

Blenheim Palace
Brilliant experience day. Thoroughly enjoyed the Palace. Took advantage of the 1 year free entry. Will definately go again. Only problem time involved in walking to and from the Croown for lunch - lost time at the Palace. Crown okay but nothing special. I think it would have been better to simply have a voucher to spend at one of the eating areas within the Palace grounds. Will definately be looking at more experience days.

An interesting morning and great food!
Blenheim palace has an interesting history and we were pleased to join some of the free tours around the building. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't fully appreciate the gardens and only needed a couple of hours at the palace. The food and service in the Crown were both excellent.

A brilliant day out!
Our visit to Blenheim Palace was a wonderful day! We got there soon after the gates opened, and enjoyed hours of entertainment. The tour of the palace was very interesting, and although there were many people inside the Palace, it didn't feel crowded at all. The palace guides were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Our family had fun enjoying the gardens, and we also particularly liked the Butterfly House in the Pleasure Gardens. The food at the Crown Hotel was delicious!

Excellent Blenheim Palace v The Crow poorrn
Blenheim Palace great lovely destination didn't disappoint but lunch at The Crown was very poor quality chicken pasta dish overcooked and dry pasta good but no sauce just tasteless unfortunately. Pizza poor and squid starters overcooked and chewy. Score of 1 for lunch and five stars for BP.

Reasonable outing
Visit to Blenheim Palace was done under Covid rules so less enjoyable than normal. Nevertheless we enjoyed the visit which was quite enlightening. The visit to the Crown for 2 course meal was very disappointing. Firstly could not 'check in' as per Covid rules. Choices on menu very limited with gluten free option even more so. Service not great despite being quite quiet. Would not return to this establishment.

Disappointed
The visit to Blenheim Palace was good but the experience was spoilt for us by the lunch at the Crown. Whilst most diners were enjoying a traditional Sunday roast, we were presented with an extremely limited menu reserved (oresumably) for Virgin Experience diners. This was not what we had expected. Having checked reviews on Trip Advisor it seems that this is typical of this restaurant. Personally I think Virgin should find alternative arrangements for dining in Woodstock.

Great day out spoilt!
Blenheim palace and parkland was absolutely amazing. The staff were very helpful even though we had a problem with our printed tickets being accepted. Luckily it wasn’t busy and we were allowed in we had to explain every time we had to show the pass!. The biggest disappointment was the Crown. The very short menu was reduced further and the pasta was lukewarm and tasteless. The pizza was ok. The place was cold and dingy. We left before coffee. Not up to standard for a Virgin Experience.

Blenheim great the Crown not great
Blenheim and grounds are beautiful, staff helpful no fault. The Crown however was way below our expectations, those not on the ‘experience’ menu didn’t have much choice and were not served a lot slower than the regular menu. In fact it was so slow we didn’t complete the meal.
