Grab a friend and head to Brewhouse and Kitchen for this Gin Lover's Masterclass with Tastings and Meal for Two. With the guidance of a gin expert, you’ll learn all about the history of gin, and gain a fascinating insight into the distilling process.
You’ll be treated to five tastings from a wide range of unique gins, accompanied by Fever Tree tonics and a main course meal. Your guide will provide tasting notes, so you can fully appreciate the subtleties of each gin’s botanicals. To finish, you’ll each choose your favourite gin and enjoy a large G&T, perfectly-served in a Gin Goblet.

What happens on the day?
On arrival you’ll meet your fellow gin connoisseurs before embarking on your masterclass. Under the guidance of a gin expert, the two of you will discover the origins and history of gin and learn about the distilling process, before enjoying five delicious gin tastings, accompanied by Fever Tree tonics and nibbles.
You'll enjoy a main course meal each fron the Academy menu including really meaty or vegan burgers, Chickpea and lentil Dhal and Legend Lager Battered Cod and Chips.
To top things off, you can each choose your favourite gin, which will be used to create a large, perfectly served G&T just for you. Gin Goblets are available to purchase for £5 each.

The experience is available on Saturdays at 14.00 and 17.00, plus one additional evening during the week. Excluded dates may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Great Experience
Myself and my wife really enjoyed our gin tasting experience with Ethan. He was very informative and kept it fun. All of the gins were really nice as was the meal. Really good value for money.

Great experience - loved it!
We had a fabulous afternoon on our Gin tasting Masterclass session, at Brewhouse and Kitchen, Nottingham. Tanvi was amazing and certainly knew her stuff. We were extremely well looked after and our afternoon was made very special. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

What a lovely experience this was. Thoroughly enjoyable discussion about the history of gin and the varying distillation processes over the years. Made even more enjoyable with 5 tasting samples and a lovely meal at the end.

Gin experience
Had a great time. I am not a massive gin drinker, this was my husband's present, but I thoroughly enjoyed tasting the different gins, hearing about their procedure etc. The young man giving the talk was informative and knew his stuff. Lots of botanicals etc to try with the wines and nice meal to end on. A good time was had by all.

Lovely day
Fantastic time was had by all at the Brewhouse Kitchen in Sutton Coldfield. Our ‘expert’ Maddie was fun to be with and knew her information on gin; there then followed a lovely meal. Brilliant day!

Great evening with Shay
My friend Clair and I had a fabulous time at the Gin master class. It was just the 2 of us and the very enthusiastic expert, Shay. She certainly knew her stuff and shared her expertise with plenty of humour. We came away suitably refreshed and much wiser. Great mothers’s day gift.

Fantastic Gin Masterclass
Fantastic gin masterclass hosted by the lovely Tanvi who was very informative and fun. 5 x measures of various gins matched with garnishes and tonics; followed by a double measure with a tonics and a meal. The food was also top quality. Highly recommended.

Gin tasting plus meal
The manager and his staff were outstanding. I had made a very stupid mistake on booking online. The manager and his staff sorted everything out and we had a fantastic evening gin tasting and even a beer tasting for my husband. We were made to feel very special by Chloe the gin master and (sorry can’t remember his nam) the beer master. They were all super kind and went over and above to make our evening wonderful. The meal was also excellent!

Thoroughly enjoyable experience
I had this experience brought for me as a birthday present 18 months ago but could only just use it due to covid. This experience was well worth the wait, it was very informative and we taste a few different gins, the 2 ladies that some the masterclass were brilliant. I would would definitely recommend this experience and would love to do another one

Gin Sampling
We went to Brewhouse and Kitchen in Hoxton, London this weekend. We had a personal tasting experience with our host, it was just the two of us and her. It was fun tasting five gins, with various tonics, and garnishes to enhance our knowledge and tickle our taste buds. At the end we had a double to choose, which was a bonus we didn't know about and a light lunch from their menu. It was great value for money, fun, and with friendly staff a great experience

Brilliant experience
The gin tasting experience was better than I expected. We tasted five different style of gin and a complimentary tonic to match it, which we soon realised made all the difference to the taste. We were given some history behind the gin making. A plater arrived with olives etc. I can’t remember the name of the young man who took the class but he was very easy to understand and listen to. Gin Lovers Tasting & Meal for 2
Our experience was delayed from April already, we then had transport issues on day! Staff at Brewhouse & Kitchen were brilliant. They contacted us to check we were ok & on our way and held on so we could complete the whole experience. Alex was very knowledgable, happy to answer our questions and made experience great fun. Food was great. Definitely recommend !

Gin Master Class Brewer & Kitchen Wilmslow
Most enjoyable experience. Hannah, the gin expert was most informative and easy going to put us at our ease. 5 gins to sample plus large double of your favourite and a meal at the end made this really enjoyable and good value for money. The pub itself was also very atmospheric and well fitted out.

Lovely Pub, Lovely Staff!
We did the gin tasting for 2 and it was lovely. A couple of hours of child free time with gin, an in house brewery and great pub food! Whats not to like? The host was excellent and knowledgeable when it comes to gin, I didnt catch his name but he was the assistant manager. We tried 5 gins and they were lovely. Even though the pub was busy and it is operating at a reduced capacity, we didn't feel rushed and the staff made us feel like we were the only two guests in the pub. Excellent afternoon!

A very enjoyable evening
We thoroughly enjoyed our Masterclass with Gin Master, Stewart. We sampled 6 different gins with an interesting variety for tonics which brought out the different flavours in the gins. The evening was informative, relaxed and friendly. Because of the need for social distancing we were in a separate room within the venue with one other couple. At the end of the class we chose our favourite from those sampled with a choice of mixer and a main course down in the restaurant; good food & atmosphere.

Great experience for gin lovers
We visited the Brewhouse in Chester, really enjoyed it. Tasted 5 different gins which were paired with tonics and garnishes to complement the gins. Bit of history as well which was quite interesting. Would definitely recommend

Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
4 ladies went to Bournemouth Brewhouse for the gin masterclass. The table was set for us with glasses etc when we arrived. Our host was fantastic, very knowledgable and joined in with the banter, it was only at the very end that he revealed it was the first masterclass he had done! All I can say is that the training must be very good indeed. Dipping bread and olives while we were doing the tasting were lovely as was the inclusive meal we had after the tasting was complete. Great afternoon!
