Rural Beekeeping and Honey Craft Beer Tasting
Overview
Enter the Hiver Experience: discover the secrets of rural beekeeping together in the stunning Albourne Estate, located in the picturesque South Downs, and follow up with a tutored honey beer and food matching session with Hiver Beers.
You’ll get suited and booted before immersing yourself in the role of an apprentice beekeeper, learning about equipment and tools, helping Hiver’s Beekeeper to handle the frames, check the health of the Hive, and getting up close to the ‘Ladies.’ Once you’ve got to grips with the process, it’ll be time to relax over a tutored honey beers and food matching session. Honey beer remains a largely undiscovered phenomenon, but you’ll learn all about it, getting to taste a Lager, an IPA and an ale, as well as the honeys used in the brewing process and some of the beer ingredients.
Beer enthusiast, bee enthusiast or both, an outing at Hiver promises to be unforgettable!
