East London Liquor Company Whisky Lover's Tour and Tasting
Overview
East London Liquor Company are proud to present their Whisky Lover’s Tour and Tasting at their distillery in Bow Wharf. Visiting the first whisky, gin and vodka distillery in East London (the city’s historic distilling district) in over 110 years offers the chance to witness part of London’s whisky revival. With their in-house brewery, distillery and bottle shop (which hosts a wide range of gins, vodkas, rums and, of course, whiskies from around the world), expect a spirited and informative visit to this award-winning East London destination.
You will have the rare behind-the-scenes opportunity to explore every step of the process during a tour of the brewery and distillery. You will then head downstairs to their tasting room to discover the secrets of barrel-ageing while tasting whiskies from around the world.

Fantastic niche distillery
We had the Whiskey Tour booked for two people, they were very accommodating with date and time, offered to book us a table for dinner afterwards in their restaurant. We were very fortunate that we were the only ones booked on our tour. Rose was fantastic, knew everything about the place and very knowledgeable about other brands as well. Really friendly. Lovely evening and would highly recommend. They do whiskey and gun tours

Great little tour
Rose showed us the distillery, for those who are interested in the the finer workings & chemistry of it all, she proved to be very knowledgable, but for me the best part was the tasting with several different whiskies, lovely little tour, don’t know how much as a present, but I thought it was probably worth the cost

A Great Visit
I got the tube to Mile End station and walked up through the Mile End Park beside the Regents Canal. The distillery is an attractive conversion of an old glue factory. The bar is a light, high-ceilinged room with a great choice of drinks and an interesting food menu. Behind the bartenders you can see the polished copper of the stills. Jess gave us a lively & interesting talk about the distillery and the whisky, gin and rum that they produce. Adjourn to the shop and/or bar afterwards. Great trip!

Good fun, bit pricey
Fun afternoon. Loads of stories and interesting facts told in a casual and relaxed way. No high brow or formalities here. A bit pricey for what we got, given that other London venues do it for less than half the price. Still a nice present to give to anyone into spirits. Lovely venue with nice seating.
