Loved this
Went with my mum who was nursing at the same time as CtM era and it was a real trip down memory lane for her. The guide was great and so fun to see the comparison between location and final TV look. I’m ready for crumpets and the Christmas episode NOW! Only disappointment was not seeing the entrance to Nonartus house….pleeeeeeease add this to gifts to buy to do the inside studio tour!

Call captain midwife tour.Rain didnt spoil it!
My 11 year old daughter is a huge fan of Call the Midwife and during lock down we watched every episode from the beginning! The tour was a Christmas present and she was so excited to go at the start of the summer holidays. We had a great time, it did not disappoint. Even with an insane amount of rain! We loved the pace of the tour, the insights, the photos, the memorabilia and the snippets the guide gave us. Rain didnt dampen her spirits or ours! Highly recommend the call the midwife tour to all

Great day out, loads to see.
We had a very enjoyable day out at The Historic Dockyard, Chatham. The Call the Midwife Tour was informative and interesting. Our "midwife" Nat was very knowledgeable and although there were not many recognisable scenes from the programme, this is very much a locations tour, not a set tour and is billed as such. There is loads more to see at the dockyard itself and makes for a great day out.

Great afternoon.
Really enjoyed ourCall The Midwife tour at Chatham Dockyard. Bought as a gift for a friends birthday. Just wish we had visited a couple of years ago when the location was being used more. As the series moves through the ages (now in the 60s) this location has not been used as much. Still great to see and hear what scenes were filmed where and even made us start watching the series again from the beginning.

Call The Midwife Tour
Absolutely brilliant. Our tour guide Irene was lovely, made sure smaller people in the group, mainly myself, were standing at the front in order to see photographs she was holding up for everyone to see. The tour was 90 minutes, was very interesting from start to finish, plenty of opportunities to take photos. Lots of walking and mainly outside. Highly recommended.

Call the midwife tourArr
Arrived with half hour to spare so had a coffee in the restaurant then went to the meet area. The guide was a jolly, funny girl who explained all the sights as we walked round. The tour was just about long enough for my mum who is in her 70s so ideal for older visitors and it wasn't rushed. Lovely afternoon and also had time to explore and see inside the submarine too. Again the guide here was lovely . I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Call the Midwife
Once you realise that this is not a tour of the studio but a tour of some of the locations used in the series you will enjoy it. Our guide, Natalie, dressed as a 50s midwife was very knowledgeable and we saw parts of the dockyard that we would not normally see. There were two internal sets to see, one a recreation in the inside of Nanata's House and one of a dock scene. Tour lasted about one hour 45 minutes.

Fantastic day at Historic Dockyard Chatham
We loved this tour - the guide was great with some back stories regarding locations/buildings used and how stories have developed and changed throughout the series. It helped that the weather was perfect for this 90 minute walking tour as the area is very exposed. Fantastic location to set period pieces of drama. Loved it.
