Vineyard Tour and Tasting with Cheese and Wine for Two at Kerry Vale Vineyard
Overview
Take a tour of the Kerry Vale Vineyard and discover the history and processes that go into producing outstanding English wine. From the vineyard’s Roman roots through to the secrets of grape growing, this laid-back tour is perfect for getting closer to that oh-so special drink.
The best way to understand wine is to taste it, and at the end of your tour you’ll do just that with a tasting session of four English wines. Not only will you have a few common wine phrases explained, but you’ll be taught the five simple steps that go into tasting wine.
To finish, you’ll be able to tuck into a locally sourced English and Welsh cheese platter, served with crusty bread, pickles, chutneys and of course, more wine.

An excellent morning spent learning about vineyards and winemaking, followed by a wine tasting of four of their varieties. We then enjoyed a genorous cheeseboard with a glass of our favourite wine from the tasting. A great way to spend a morning in lovely surroundings.

An Excellent Experience
We were made very welcome. The social distancing, etc, was well thought out. The presentation was informative and interesting, and we enjoyed the tour of the vines. The tasting was well organised - enjoyable and educational. And the cheese and wine lunch was superb. We would highly recommend the experience.

Just lovely
Informative visit to a lovely family business, felt like a small French vineyard I visited a few years ago but back then I never would have expected to be doing this just a few miles from home! Found a new white that may well become a favourite. Enjoyable cheese platter with some lovely bread a glass of my wine of choice. Would throughly recommend and will return!

Great place loved the tour!
Lovely winery. Owners and staff were brilliant despite being so busy as their cafe is very popular. Learnt loads on the tour which was very interesting and had fun tasting the wine. Recommend the Summer day’s white wine of which we bought several bottles to take back home!
