What happens on the day?
On arrival at The Crown Inn, you’ll be greeted in reception before being shown through to your pre-booked table in the Hawkyns Restaurant.
With menus and a glass of Prosecco each in hand, you’ll make your three course choices from the set menu, with around three dish options per course.
A small surcharge may be charged on some dishes. A discretionary service charge of 12.50% will be added to your bill.

Your meal can be booked Monday to Thursday 18.30 to 22.00, subject to availability.
We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes to enjoy your meal
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Simply delicious!
This was our second visit to Hawykwns and it gets better each time. We last visited 2 years ago back in 2019 and we’re gifted another experience which we couldn’t wait to book. The restaurant is quaint and has such a lovely feel to it & the staff were ever so friendly. We had the three course meal with a glass of bubbles and it exceeded our expections on both occasions. The portions were very generous and the food just melted in our mouths. It was simply delicious and we will be back for more!

Delicious food in a lovely setting
Had a lovely dinner date for two. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the kebab starter, butter chicken and short rib main. Daal, rice and naan perfect accompaniments. Dessert was a treat too! Friendly service, can’t wait to go back. Staff all in masks and sanitiser is available on every table.

Fantastic 3-course dinner
We ate at Hawkyns on 15 Sept and the food was delicious. The chocolate mousse was particularly good. All staff were attentive and food was served promptly. Would recommend and we'd be happy to return.

Great venue and welcome

Excellent date-night gift
This restaurant is located in The Crown, a lovely old pub in Old Amersham. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable and the period setting continues into the two rooms. For our 3-course gift the menu was discrete but varied and most was gluten-free which made choosing fun instead of a restriction. The food was excellent and we both chose something different so we could try each others. The whole atmosphere was friendly and we enjoyed the experience so much we hope to return with friends.

A most unusual indian food experience

We had a lovely evening at the restaurant in Amersham. Staff were attentive and helpful while not being ‘over the top’ Food was extremely good and well presented. Would absolutely recommend this experience.

Excellent Experience
We were given this experience by our daughters. We enjoyed everything about the restaurant. The staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, well presented and well cooked. It was very interesting food, delicately spiced and very tasty. We have already booked a return visit.

Great Food, Attentive Service
This was a Christmas present from my daughter and it didn't disappoint. The food was superb, the setting was pleasant, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. I will go back when I get a chance.

Wonderful family meal out!
Wonderful family meal out at a great restaurant. The food is Indian but this is lightly spiced to the point where my children (4&8) can easily dine here too. Service is fantastic, helpful, kind and considerate with the children. I would easily recommend.

Bought for my birthday
The customer experience was brilliant from beginning to end - they accommodated me adding a child to the booking and even moved the booking to an evening meal though we had booked a lunch voucher. Meal was delicious and staff were very attentive when needed. Lovely building too. Would highly recommend this deal.

Totally Delicious
The restaurant is in a lovely old coaching inn. The staff are all friendly and the lunchtime ambience very relaxed. But it is the food that shines brightly, and everything we ate was totally delicious. A really wonderful experience.

A very pleasant evening but when the purchaser booked the gift for me it was not Indian food, as the spices do not agree with me. On the day of my experience the menu had been changed to Indian cuisine. Luckily it didn't cause me any problems. Under the circumstances I would not be choosing the restaurant again

Good value
We were provided with a voucher for a three course meal for two with a greetings drink. From a value point of view it was excellent. Understandably the choice of menu was minimal but the food presented was hot and tastefull. The service was good.
