Shepherd Neame Daytime Brewery Tour and Beer Selection for Two
Overview
Take a lucky friend or partner along for the Shepherd Neame Daytime Brewery Tour and enjoy a guided tour of Britain’s oldest brewer as well as a tutored tasting session. Discover how the family run company produce their wide range of award-winning beers, with modern equipment as well as an abundance of memorabilia from the brewery’s history.
During your tour you will taste malted barley and the natural mineral water from the brewery’s artesian well, but that will be nothing compared to the tutored tasting session at the end, once you have seen the effort that goes into making the wonderful Kentish ales and speciality lagers. See every step in the process from barley to bottle. You will step into ‘the Vaults’ and see historic delivery vehicles and explore the recreated cooper’s workshop. At the end of your tour and tasting you will receive a jute bag with six speciality ales inside so you can continue to enjoy tasting them at home.

Beer tasting in Faversham
My son and I spent a really good afternoon, touring the shepherd neame brewery in Faversham. Alan our guide was funny and informative and there was a lot of interesting things to see. Obviously the best part of the tour is sampling 6 very different ales and lagers...all of which were great. Give this tour a try.....how many other tours end in a pub??

A lovely tour of England's oldest brewery
This is a well recommended tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, it took about 90 minutes followed by a further 30 minutes for the tasting. This English independent brewery is seeped in history and if you're a fan of cask ales and filtered beers then a tour is a must.

what an experience
I brew my own beer anyway, but I found I still have a lot to learn. Brought home a Shepherd Neame bag with 6 bottles of beer and enjoyed them over the weekend. I would highly recommend this experience if you live close enough to Faversham.
