What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence. Please ensure you are familiar with the terms and conditions of the experience.

What happens on the day?

The day starts with a welcome and introduction before you learn a little about the construction of perfumes including why some scents last longer than others and why perfumes change throughout the day. The trained consultant will then guide you through the eighteen available blends and you will compare the different scents. Once all blends have been sampled, you will combine them to design a fragrance to your liking, with the assistance of the consultant. When you have named your creation, the consultant will blend it, and you will go home that day with an atomiser filled with 20ml of your unique scent.

Overview

Have a go at making your own perfume with this interesting class held at 18 different locations. You’ll be guided by an expert who will aid you in a perfume consultation where you’ll get a little insight into the way perfumes work.

You’ll enjoy blending your own unique fragrance which will be bottled in an atomiser for you to take home on the day. Every great scent should have an interesting name, so make sure you choose a good one, it will go on your e-registration certificate along with details on how you can purchase more of your fragrance in the future.

Great experience

I was gifted this experience for my birthday and it was a really enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. Set in a nice hotel in Bath, I enjoyed a glass of bucks fizz on arrival followed by lots of testing of different scents to decide what we'd each like in our own perfume. It was a great mix of information and trying things out, and I'm really happy with my own perfume blend which I can re-order anytime! :)

A lovely day at a well run event.

I had a lovely morning making perfume with The Perfume Studio in the Francis Hotel in Bath. Our hosts were lovely, they were well organised and very helpful. My fellow guests were nice as well. After being locked down for so long it was the most social thing I've done for literally years! The only slight "boo" was that I was running late because my train had been cancelled and I could not get hold of anyone to let them know.

Perfume perfection!

Wonderful and interesting day!

I was given this as a birthday present and was excited as I had never done anything like this before. The day was fab, there wasn’t too many of us and it was fun to learn about perfume in a way you wouldn’t think of it. I was so pleased with my perfume and will order some more! This was a birthday present from my son and was an inspired choice. I really enjoyed finding out about how a perfume is constructed and had great fun creating my own special fragrance. Lovely atmosphere as well, we enjoyed swapping impressions with each other.

Superb experience

Lovely Day out

Had a very enjoyable afternoon learning & designing my own perfume. The host & his team were warm, welcoming & very knowledgeable about the different scents that we got to smell in order to make up our own blends. Definitely recommended.

It was interesting with lots of different scent to analyse. A well-led session by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Warren. It was a bit difficult to judge quantities of each scent to use when creating our own perfume and I would have welcomed a bit of advice on this. A thoroughly enjoyable session with a nice Prosecco welcome too! I found it difficult to get to the venue coming from Shepherd Bush tube station and faced with a huge roundabout and no signage or local map at the station.

Interesting experience!

I attended this weekend with my Mum & Sister. Was an interesting experience to learn how perfume is made, understand what goes in & we enjoyed mixing the various scents/oils to see what worked for us before selecting our chosen scent. Overall an enjoyable time, however let down by how long it took to bottle the perfume at the end. We had to wait over an hour for it, would have been longer had we not pushed to be done next. Poor organisation. They didn’t even have the boxes made up. Shame!

Really fun couple of hours

I really enjoyed the perfume experience, which I had been bought as a birthday gift. The perfume you get to take away with you is unique and comes in a nice atomiser. The glass of fizz on arrival was a nice touch. My only criticism is that I felt there was some hard selling at points, persuading us to upgrade or purchase additional items.

Fun afternoon

Really fun afternoon. Didn't realize it also came with a glass of fizzy water and prosecco too! I learned a lot. Only moan is that the perfume itself really doesn't last long at all so this is definitely more about the experience then what you're left with! Recommend this for a mum's/daughter day. I went solo and was equally as fun!

A very pleasant and easy location to reach and hold the event at. The ladies were nice that held it also. We learnt quite a lot about the perfumer background and how perfume smells evolve. We smelt a fair few fragrances and learnt what was contained in each . We then got to design our own choosing from this range. However disappointed that we didn’t get to make them. You took a bottle home. Too much sales pitch! The talk in total lasted about an hour half shorter than I though. But fun!

I enjoyed this experience of designing my own perfume, however I felt the time was rushed in choosing the different scents. This was so that the lady making the perfume had time to do so for such a large group which meant we were waiting around for over an hour with nothing to do.

Enjoyable but rushed

The experience was enjoyable but rushed. Staff said they were 1 assistant short, so the first session had overrun. The session I was on started late. It was difficult to hear what the presenter was saying as people talked between themselves. At the end, we were asked to return in 1 hour to collect our perfume. (You couldn’t watch it being blended.) 1 hour later we were told they hadn’t started doing ours yet, so we had to go back again. After leaving we noticed we were one item missing.
