What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence. Please ensure you are familiar with the terms and conditions of the experience.

What happens on the day?

Upon arrival to the Yorkshire Flight Simulator, you’ll be welcomed and taken through to the briefing room where you’ll be offered a tea or coffee and will be talked through the experience to come. Once you’ve decided on what you want to get up to on your flight, it’ll be into the cockpit for your amazing F16 simulator experience to get underway.

Overview

Ever dreamed of flying a fighter jet but don’t fancy the face-bending g-force? If so, this 30 minute F16 Fighter Pilot Simulator Experience is for you. Via your immersive 180 degree projector system, you’ll get a feel for what it’s really like to fly one of these world-class military jets.

You’ll be talked through the flight ahead in the briefing room, where you can sit back and relax before the mission ahead. Your fully enclosed cockpit features all the controls you’d see in an actual F16, and with a range of flight scenarios to choose from, you can get an authentic taste of what life as an F16 pilot is like.

Up to six spectators are welcome to come along, so prepare to wow friends or family with your spectacular dogfight skills.

Just got home after my girlfriend bought me an experience for my birthday! I've always been a fan of flight simulator and always wanted to try a more immersive experience. Needless to say Yorkshire flight simulator more then delivered! Having a fully modelled F-16 cockpit with 180 degree field of view out of the canopy really makes you feel like your flying at 5000ft at 500 knots! The chap who runs Yorkshire flight simmulator is very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone!
