Brilliant, enjoyable and informative fish course
A wonderful day spent learning various techniques to cook fish. I particularly enjoyed the fish prep and information about sourcing fish. John was a brilliant teacher and very knowledgeable. I would recommend to anybody who enjoys eating fish but might be nervous about cooking it.

Really good experience but ...dont eat beforehand
I did the one day fish experience cooking thing. John was brilliant as were the helpers who cleared our mess. It was really good - I can now fillet fish as well as gut a squid. We were given a choice of what recipes we wanted to make specifically. I went on this course to do fish soup but I was put on other recipes which was not what I wanted to do. The food was phenomenal

A good day out
I enjoyed the day and the ingredients aren't cheap but it’s an expensive day out for what you get. The instructors are very good but with 15 students it’s crowded. There very Little actual cooking by the students, I was expecting to do all the cooking but the instructor does the cooking with some input from the students. Depending on where you stand when watching the instructor around the hob you will need to keep moving to allow the staff to clear prep tables. The food was very tasty at the end
