Llama Trekking Experience Day For Two
Overview
You can now take a walk in the countryside like never before… with a llama for company! Discover and enjoy the pleasant sites of the Northamptonshire countryside whilst leading a gentle llama along bridleways and country lanes.
Llamas are intelligent animals, who often live in large herds and take care of each other as a family would. They are curious and quite interactive so you will have a few laughs along your 3.5 mile journey together. You may not ride the animal but they are strong enough to carry your water bottles and raincoats, making your trek lighter. Add a unique touch to de-stressing and take a stroll with a llama.

LLama Trek
An excellent day led by Sarah and Mary who clearly love the animals and gave us all a thorough briefing prior to the walk (not arduous at all) through the countryside followed by seeing the rest of the herd and the youngsters. Very covid safe and good on site facilities for picnics and so on. More than happy to recommend.

A fun, relaxing experience!
We had a great time llama trekking last weekend. The whole experience was smooth and well-organised and Sarah helped us feel really comfortable around the llamas despite it being our first time. The trek was beautiful and we really enjoyed getting to know our llama, Mungo! I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a fun couple of hours!

Best day out
I took my sister on a llama trek to escape the craziness of 2020 (it was given as a birthday present) and it did not disappoint. All staff were so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I could not recommend this enough!!

A Marvellously Muddy Day!
Despite the weeks of wind and rain beforehand, we had a lovely walk through the countryside. At times I thought we’d need help to pull us from the mud but the sun was splitting the sky which bizarrely made it fun. Mary and Sarah were very welcoming and informative and everything was explained to us before we got to handle the llamas. A thoroughly brilliant experience that I would like to repeat, but maybe when the ground hardens up a little!!

Start to finish, so much fun! Sarah was professional and friendly, clearly concerned regarding the wellbeing of the animals but also made a big effort to make sure we all had a good time. Beautiful scenery and lovely llamas. The baby llamas at the end were an adorable bonus. Highly recommended

Lovely way to have a country walk
Went llama trekking with my husband and two teenage children - and it was lovely! Catanger Llamas is in a lovely location, with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. The care and love the llamas receive is obvious. And what lovely trekking companions they make! We were extremely lucky with the weather, but I have to say that I enjoyed the experience even more than I expected to.

Llama trekking
Thoroughly enjoyed the morning spent at Catanga Farm, Lois Weedon,Northants. It was a whole new experience, as I hadn't met any llamas before. The llamas were very co-operative and easy to handle, and the trek across open countryside was perfect exercise too. Highly recommended.

Beautiful day out
Sarah, the kind lady who holds the trekking events did nothing short of making each and every one of us feel welcomed & spent her time talking to us in turns as the trek progressed, for me I felt valued as an individual, which was a* service considering she does this day in day out! The trek is well worth the money, over 2 hours worth of trekking, then on to a walk round to see the remaining llamas at the farm. There’s a little cabin with merch to buy and seating outside to enjoy a picnic :)

Great experience out into the countryside with
I really enjoyed the llama trekking experience. It started with some background info on the animals, their natural habitat and habits as well as the individual llamas at the farm! We then got introduced to our llama (one each) before departing on the trek. When we got back we went out to the fields and got introduced to the rest of the herd including the mums and babies, & the alpacas. The staff were very friendly, professiona & knowledgeable. Great for couples and families with older children.

Unforgettable! Couldn't have been better!!
A beautiful, relaxing walk with these lovely, regal creatures who know where they're going but will go with you where you guide them. Sarah & Ashley were great guides & we were lucky enough to watch Orla give birth to her beautiful daughter Quella.

Fabulous way to spend a birthday.
The llama experience is a wonderful way to de-stress. If you want a soul-satisfying experience instead of 'stuff' for your birthday gift, this one's for you. The mulled wine and mince pies were a welcome after trek extra. Five star experience. I llove llamas.

Great day out
We had a great day out with the llamas, definitely encourage others to wear long trousers and hiking shoes as it goes off the track! Was a hot day when we did ours so limited shade, but the llamas were still great. Would be better if proper rest stop was organized halfway and tying llamas to post to enjoy a small break. Other than that, very fun and great day out
