Overview

Capture the memories of a child's first year in magnificent images, with the My First Year Photoshoot. With three separate sessions with a professional photographer, you can capture your child’s growth throughout their first 12 months. The photographer will work with you to bring out your little one's personality in the images. Only professional photographers are used - and with over 85 studios across the UK and Ireland, you're bound to find one near you.

You'll receive one complimentary 5in x 7in photographic print from each of the three sessions, and you're welcome to purchase more for an additional cost.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at your chosen studio at your allotted time, you will have a portrait session for your baby, with a professional photographer. A viewing appointment will then take place after the portrait session where you can choose your complimentary 5in x 7in portrait, and order any additional photos you might like. You will then book a date for your next session.

You will have three photographic sessions in total (on average to be taken when the child is 4, 8 and 12 months old) and will receive one complimentary 5in x 7in print from each session.

Participant guidelines

Under 21’s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
All the family are welcome to come to watch the photoshoot too or even join in (please check this at the time of booking)
You will receive one complimentary print. A p&p charge will be payable to cover Recorded Delivery of your print(s) at some locations. A fully refundable booking deposit of £30 (£35 from Jaanuary 2022) must be paid at time of booking, this is refunded at viewing or if cancelled with at least 3 days prior notice to the session

Availability

Most studios are open on selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year. All studios work by appointment only.

We recommend you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

You should expect to spend approximately 1 hour at the venue on each visit. The portrait session should last for approximately 30 minutes.

Please be aware that some viewings are not available on the same day and a viewing appointment on a later date may be necessary.

Only one voucher may be used per person within a 12 month period.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
