So much fun....!
Such an enjoyable morning. My first time shooting but it certainly will not be my last. Everyone at the range was helpful and made the experience fun. We were all beginner's in my group but after a little tuition everyone managed to hit the clays more than what was missed.

I had not done clay pigeon shooting since being a child but found the experience to be fantastic. The instructor was full of information and genuinely wanted us to improve. I was glad to hit a few and will be returning again in the future. I believe a good day was had by all finished of with a nice cuppa at the end.

Cumbernauld - Central Scotland Shooting School
I bought 4 tickets for my family, and we had an great day out. Our instructor was very patient, explained everything to us, and helped us enjoy ourselves with a shooting competition within our group. I would highly recommend this for absolute beginners as we had an amazing time and actually managed to hit a great number of clays

Top marks overall for the experience itself. Organisers were great, the booking process was all that let it down because I found it so confusing!

Good fun
Would have been 5 stars, however the "seasonal food and drink" turned out to be a warm can of coke 👎 The location autocorrected to bland food, which should have been a pointer 😁

Fab!!
Great time had! instructor was thorough and friendly. Refreshments were ok, it was a slice of cake and a cup of tea but there was a lovely little pub/ restaurant on site so you could purchase lunch if you wanted something substantial.

shame about the seasonal refreshments
We had a great time at Weston lodge farm Portishead doing clay pigeon shooting the three of us were teamed up with two others,we all enjoyed the activity, none of us had used a gun before, the instructor we had was very good explaining all u needed to know,to hit the clays. But we were so disappointed with the seasonal refreshments,we thought we would least get a bacon roll,as the smell from the cooking made us hungry, but the guy took out 2 packets of chocolate brownies and flapjacks, the same you would buy in sainsaburys for £5 the 2 packs, they are about 1" square,we had a couple,i asked if we were not getting a bacon roll,he said they don't run to that expense, granted there were tea/coffee for everyone to have.I think we should of got a bit more than that as it was stated seasonal refreshments,so after reading the other review, they got cake and quiche and course tea/coffee,true we could of bought a roll, but the point is i paid for this activity for my husband and grandson ans myself, thinking would be nice to sit down after to chat about the advent over a drink and at least a cake or even toast,So we are all so annoyed, and it would of been cheaper just to have the shoot without the "seasonal refreshments"the tea/coffee were free to have by everyone who attended any activity. But we all did enjoy the shoot itself

Very disorganised business but got it right eventually
I got this as a birthday gift and organising it was hell - phone calls not returned, emails not responded to and when I eventually got a hold of someone by phone they were rude and very unwelcoming. Not really a good start, but on the day of the shoot they were welcoming and were organised. The trainer taught us well and explained himself perfectly, was funny and patient. There were several stages of difficulty for clay shooting and the trainer helped you along each one, guiding the gun etc. Afterwards we were offered cake, quiche and tea/coffee which was lovely.

Shooting
I arrived just in time because there was no place to park at the venue. As a result the shooting had started when I arrived. The actual shooting was good & I enjoyed it the instructor was good. Maybe because it had started when I arrived I did not enjoy the whole exsperience as much I would have liked.
