Get on your way to becoming a pair of wine tasting masters after an evening sampling some of the finest wines around, and follow them all with an informal light dinner with this Wine Tasting Masterclass and Three Course Supper for Two.
You’ll be in expert hands as you’re guided through six to eight wines at one of Davy’s London locations. They’ve been working with the world’s finest winemakers and Châteaux since 1870. Every wine you’ll try has been selected, shipped and stored by Davy’s themselves, with each one featuring a quality that lifts it out of the ordinary and will give you a tasting experience you won’t find anywhere else.
Along with your wine tasting extravaganza you can both fill up on a light supper of three courses, with each course especially paired with a small glass of wine to bring out the flavours and keep your tasting skills sharp.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Davy’s Wine Bar, on the day of your tasting, you can expect a warm welcome and convivial atmosphere as you get relaxed ready to begin.
You’ll then enjoy a variety of tasters, as well as expert insight from your knowledgeable wine guide for the evening, to be followed by an informal three-course supper with a small glass of wine paired with each course.

Availability
This experience will be available on selected dates, usually on a Wednesday or Thursday evening.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure a date is available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 3 hours for the whole experience (from 18.30 – 21.30).
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Fantastic evening!
One of the best wine tastings we have ever been to. Very knowledgeable hosts, 6 wines and a sherry a lovely three course meal, the first two courses were served with a fresh glass of two of the sampled wines and the final course with sherry. An excellent evening and we learnt a lot too. Would highly recommend it.

A superb evening
This exceeded our expectations. We were entertained in a private room. The evening was very informative as we were told in considerable detail about the grapes, regions and growing techniques. We enjoyed the tastings and discussions and also the three course meal. All in all-an extremely enjoyable evening supervised by very pleasant and attentive staff.

A great and informative evening
This was a very enjoyable evening with the presentation by Sam and Angus being very informative and pitched at the appropriate level. The opening introduction by Sam guided us through the tasting guidelines and enabled us to participate in a group testing of 5 wines. Sam is a very knowledgeable individual who coached the group well, listened to our observations and supported our findings. The food provided was very good and overall a very enjoyable evening. We will book again.

A Rhone wine adventure with Supper
Great location at Bangers in Moorgate. The masterclass in the wines of the Rhine was led by a Davy's Wine expert. The session was informative and entertaining as the we explored the wines of the region whilst simultaneously being taught to recognise, to taste and discern the differences and characteristics. This was followed by a tasty 3 course supper!

Informative interesting and enjoyable
The Rhône Wine tasting at Bangers (Davy’s Wine Bar) was excellent with a good overview of the Rhone region and then useful advice on wine tasting with a tasting of 5 wines; this was the followed by a three course supper and a glass of wine with each course. There was even opportunity to buy wine on the night with a generous discount and good delivery terms - a real VFM experience

Learn how to drink wine!
A great evening out learning about wine in a relaxing location. We tried 6 different wines from Italy, and were guided through with a really informative talk. rounded off with a nice meal. Thoroughly recommended.

Davis wine tasting
A really good evening in a great old building. Tim, the expert, was really good didn't make it complicated explained everything very well. Good wines good company. Very pleasant evening and learnt a lot about some previously unknown wines.

Wine not whine!
A most enjoyable event with a knowledgeable wine expert and a good range of quality wines from Northern Spain. The original location for the event had to be changed due to maintenance which was a bit disappointing but the revised location (Canary Wharf) still worked very well. The meal was very good but was served after the wine tasting which meant I got a little peckish during the wine tasting but this was only a slight distraction. Overall and very enjoyable wine event with no reason for me

Wine heaven!
Really enjoyed a wine tasting and tapas evening at Davy’s El Vino in Fleet Street, London. We enjoyed welcoming drinks and then had five excellent wines to try with an interesting and informative talk from the owner of the vineyard. Good tapas too though could have been slightly hotter. A lovely basement room full of charm and tradition made an excellent setting to enjoy food, wine and good company with other wine enthusiasts.

Enchanting
A lovely evening, great wine and food and learnt a great deal. Good location, central & easily located with tasteful decor. Would have preferred more nibbles or starters before all the wine tasting to help avoid a sore head!

Met Some New Friends!
A really insightful experience and we made some new friends. Would recommend for anyone who wants to learn and understand how to taste and enjoy different wines. A good venue with equally good food.

Good but could have been better!
It was okay but didn't really meet expectations. I felt like there were too many people for the one sommelier. He would go round and have a conversation about each wine with each person which meant it lasted quite a while. Given the experience started at 6.30, we didn't eat til 8.45. No sauce with steak so was quite dry. Nice wines but probably a bit too high end for us!
