The worst day out ever...
I had to travel 4 hours to reach this zoo. The zoo itself doesn't have many animals and can be walked around in less than 30 minutes. However I was looking forward to the tiger experience, but when it came time for it all I got to do was stand and watch the zoo keeper feed a tiger... extremely overpriced. 10x the regular entrance fee just to stand and watch someone else feed a tiger! I do not recommend this at all! Big waste of money!

Meet the Tigers - Dartmoor Zoe
We had a fantastic visit to a lovely Zoo where the animals are clearly loved and cared for. The visit with the tigers was special and informative about their plight but hopeful for the future. Thank you

Amazing from start to finish!
My tiger experience at Dartmoor Zoo was WOW! To see these majestic wild animals close up was a priviledge and a memory I will treasure. The keeper was full of really interesting information about Dragan and Alisha and answered all my questions with ease. This was a once in a lifetime treat for me and absolutely amazing!

An amazing experience
Being up close and personal with such an amazing creature was such a privilege. The tiger keeper was so welcoming and informative about all aspects of tigers and has a great relationship with the tigers in his care. He was very articulate with his talk and answered all questions throughly. If you love big cats this is the experience for you. Being within inches of such a beautiful beast was a dream come true. A huge thank you to everyone at Dartmoor Zoo.

Magnificent big pussycats
Wonderful time, friendly staff and looked after very well. We felt special and safe at all times. The tigers are such adorable huge pussycats and up close is incredibly satisfying and an awe moment excellent for an anti inflammatory diet. We were mesmerized watching the tigers antics. Very much like watching kittens and cats clean their paws and curl up just not in your lap. They talk to you and look at you and enjoy the meat treats the head keeper gives them. I had a memorable connection

Tiger Encounter
Get up close to the Tigers, the experience is absolutely amazing and puts their size into perspective and something to cross of the bucket list!! The staff and volunteers are extremely knowledgeable, socialable and obviously love the job they're doing and so proud of the zoo and what it's achieved. Especially rehoming animals from other UK zoos where there has been a problem.

Brightened up a very grey day!
I bought this experience as a gift for my boyfriend. We had such a lovely time. Being January it was rainy, which was actually a plus as the zoo was quiet and we got the whole place pretty much to ourselves before we met the keeper st 11am. He was really friendly and knowledgeable. His care for the big cats was really apparent. We met the male tiger Dragan and the jaguar Chincha. It was incredible, such beautiful creatures. All the staff were lovely, the zoo was amazing! Thanks :)

Wonderful Experience
Really enjoyed getting so close to these beautiful animals and seeing how well the keeper interacted with them. Very relaxed format. Didn't feel rushed at all and enjoyed lunch afterwards as well as the chance to wander around the rest of the zoo.

Amazing
I got this experience for my 50th birthday which i was excited about because i love tigers. When i got there i wasn't sure what to expect but omg to get so near to a real live tigers was amazing. During my time in the enclosure Alisha the female tiger stayed which made the whole experience amazing. The keeper was very friendly and passionate about his work. We stayed for a few hours afterwards to look around the zoo and all the staff and volunteers we spoke to were friendly also.

Fantastic day out
Went on the tiger experience day and loved every second of it. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about all the animals. This place is all about the animals so if you want a cosmopolitan tourist attraction it's not here. This about the animals above anything which I absolutely approve of. Please visit this charity they need our help.

It was ok
My voucher included refreshments on arrival and lunch after the experience of which I received neither. The tiger experience was ok, the gentleman giving the talk was lovely and very knowledgeable, and he was the best bit of the whole experience. If he wasn’t so talkative and friendly the whole experience would of been just watching a bloke feed a tiger with tweezers. Paradise wildlife park in Broxbourne offer a tiger experience where you can hand feed the tigers and touch them, much better.

A really enjoyable day.
The tiger experience was good, unfortunately the Male tiger would not come out of their sleeping area so we only seen the female so there was no interaction between the two which would of enriched the experience. The guide was very informative, we thought we could feed the tiger using a longer metal pole so there was no chance of an accident. The young staff were most helpful and informative. We had a lovely lunch in the restaurant to finish the day.

Great photos
The staff were very friendly. Keeper had good knowledge on the tigers. We had plenty of opportunities to take photos, ask questions. Tigers were close but obviously behind the fencing. Lunch included was nice and had an opportunity to visit the other animals there.

Tiger
No one was there to greet us. One Tiger was near the fence, had it been with the other under shelter we would not of even seen one close. no offer of a photo with us and Tiger in background which should have been offered for £149.00!! we were no nearer than 20 feet away where zoo public were the same distance. fed the Tider bits of Dartmoor Pony, i understood why but horrid to hear. yes got to see Tiger but if raining Tigers hed for cover nowhere near you and you too get wet. not as expected.

Tiger encounter for two
We arrived at 10.50, we were not greeted by anyone or offered refreshments. The zoo keeper came along after about 10 mins and read the safety instructions to us and two other people, he said are we ready to start the experience we said ,we are supposed to have refreshments ,coffee at least he said we would only be out for 20 to 30 mins so we agreed to wait till we come back for lunch we did not get a tour of the park or a gift pack. The Tigers were amazing close up, but the experience was poor.
