Kick things off with a welcome drink before settling down to hear from Benjamin first-hand the fascinating story of Dartmoor Zoo, including its transition to becoming a charity as well as the highs and lows of keeping the zoo alive over the years. What happens on the day?
On arrival at Dartmoor Zoo, you’ll be warmly welcomed and meet the man himself, Benjamin Zee. Kick things off with a welcome drink before settling down to hear Dartmoor Zoo’s fascinating story from Benjamin himself. After the talk, you’ll enjoy a tour of the zoo where you’ll be introduced to the big cats. As part of this experience, you’ll also enjoy a lunch as you reflect on your incredible day.

- No minimum age (under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult)
- The experience is not recommended for anyone who is pregnant, has a high blood pressure, or is of a nervous disposition
- While nearly all of the zoo is accessible to wheelchairs and buggies, it is quite hilly and rugged and some of the paths are challenging. Caution should be exercised, and the team is ready to help when you need: just ask. High heels are inadvisable
