What happens on the day?
On arrival at your agreed location within Snowdonia National Park you’ll meet your photographer. With over 30 years’ tuition and with expert knowledge of the surroundings, he’ll be able to give you the optimal experience of photographing the landscape. You’ll have a health and safety briefing, as well as some time to familiarise yourself with your camera equipment.
You’ll be visiting various locations in Snowdonia National Park, learning how to capture the scenery with your camera whilst discussing various aspects of photography. As your confidence increases, you’ll have the chance to experiment with filters, different shutter speeds and more to see how your photos change as a result.

Participant guidelines
- Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian
- The experience will include some walking and this can be on uneven ground and involving some inclines, so may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties
- Participants must bring their own camera, accessories and tripod, and are advised to bring their camera manual
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
The experience is available seven days a week throughout the year. Weekdays will be generally quieter in Snowdonia National Park. Although the experience is available all year round, the best lighting is generally from September to May. There is one session per day commencing at 08.30 and finishing at approximately 16.30, however during the winter months the hours of daylight are somewhat reduced which will affect the length of the experience.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
The experience lasts for approximately 8 hours but this can vary due to weather conditions and hours of daylight available.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
