What happens on the day?
On arrival at St Pancras station in London, you will check in for your trip on board Eurostar for the journey to Paris which takes approximately 2 hours 15 minutes. During the train journey you’ll pass through the Kent countryside at speeds of up to 186 mph and be whisked into the Channel Tunnel before emerging into the French capital for your luxury day trip.
Your time in Paris is yours to use as you wish. When it’s time for lunch you’ll arrive at the foot of the Eiffel Tower to find your Bateaux Parisien cruise waiting to take you on a sightseeing cruise and indulge you in a treat gastronomique, starting with a kir cocktail followed by three courses and a glass of wine each and finishing with a coffee.
You’ll have some time for further exploration after your cruise, but don’t forget to get back to the Gare Du Nord for your train home!

Enjoyable but tiring
An early start for the 5.40am Eurostar to Paris meant (after breakfast outside Gare Nord Station) catching the two metro connections to get to the Eiffel tour and the port to catch the cruise ship left only 30 minutes to spare before boarding (taxi would have quicker but costs about 25 - 30 Euros). The cruise and luncheon was approx 2 hrs 20 minutes and the food and service were excellent. After lunch there is time for a little sight seeing dependent on what time Eurostar you have booked.
