This contemporary spa is set within 12 acres of beautiful gardens close to the pretty Essex town of Frinton-on-Sea. It offers a wide range of fantastic spa facilities including gym, hydrotherapy pool, steam and sauna suites and a salt inhalation room.
On the afternoon of your stay you’ll book into your standard double or twin room where you can change into the robes and slippers provided. Then do as little or as much as you like for the rest of the day. You could explore the beautiful gardens, take advantage of the relaxing spa facilities, or for an additional cost, treat yourself to a pampering treatment.
In the morning you’ll enjoy a tasty full English breakfast – with plenty of healthy options if you’d prefer - before an unhurried mid-morning check-out.

What happens on the day?
Once you’ve checked into your standard double or twin room from 15.00, you’ll be free to change into the robes and slippers provided and to take advantage of The Lifehouse Spa facilities. Enjoy a dip in the swimming and hydrotherapy pools, get active in the gym, relax in the sauna, steam and salt inhalation rooms, or simply spend some time lounging poolside. If you’d like to join an exercise class you may do so at no extra cost, although we suggest booking in advance. Alternatively, take a stroll in the beautiful gardens – a real feature of this relaxing haven.
In the morning you’ll enjoy a delicious full English breakfast before check out at 11.00.

- Minimum age: 16 (under 18s need to be accompanied by a paying adult)
- The Lifehouse Spa & Hotel is fully wheelchair accessible - if you have any specific needs please ask for more details when booking
- Hen and Stag party bookings are not accepted
- All bookings must be reserved in advance to avoid disappointment
- Bookings for more than 6 people are subject to availability and must be pre authorised by the hotel
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
Available Sunday to Thursday. Date restrictions including 24 December to 1 January, Valentines day and Bank Holidays will apply.
Fridays may be available, subject to availability, at a £30 supplement payable to the Hotel directly.
We recommend you book at least six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Check in from 15.00 on the day of arrival and check out by 11.00 on the morning of departure, but please allow up to 15.00 to use the spa facilities. You are welcome to arrive earlier or depart later to use the spa facilities.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

“Coulsdon Manor and Golf Club”
Stayed Saturday night with DBB. A gift from our friends. Near Purley and Mayfield's Lavender Farm. Can be tricky to find. Great hotel, friendly staff and good food and service. Bar open 24 hours but credit card details required on booking if you want to drink use bar after 11 pm. Lift and disabled facilities (ask). Great golf course/scenery. Good room (110). A mix of old and new. Recommended.

Hotel was nice but a bit run down and need some TLC. The staff were pleasant but it just seemed like it was everyone's first day and no one knew what they were doing. Food was good though!
“Disappointment in every sense”
After having our wedding reception at Coulsdon Manor we thought using a one night experience voucher gift there would be a great way to reminisce. How wrong we could have been! For a start the hotel reception was freezing due to a broken window, but the bar (only entertainment), was out of action for refit and the make shift restaurant bar was awful, so uncomfortable! The room was dirty, shabby and broken. The grounds looked unkept and all the communal decor was the same from 2004! Very poor!
