Under the guidance of a friendly and experienced instructor, you’ll get to know how the car handles, experiencing its unique sound and acceleration as you zip along roads amidst rolling countryside. Afterwards, you and a guest will be taken on a fascinating guided tour of the factory where it was made. “An epic day out ”
Had a great time at Grizedale Forest GoApe. There is a good mix of activities in the treetop challenge including some epic zip wires. Definitely was pushed out of my comfort zone but always felt safe. The kids in our group loved it. There can be a bit of waiting around between the platforms. Our experience lasted well over three hours from start to finish so allow plenty of time. A very good value experience.

What happens on the day?
We suggest you arrive 15 minutes early for your pre-booked driving experience to ensure that you are able to set off on time. You’ll be given a short safety briefing and some instruction on how to get the most out of your drive.
After approximately 1 hour out on the road, you’ll return the car to the factory and enjoy the second part of your treat. You and a guest can enjoy a guided tour of the factory followed by the opportunity to explore the on-site museum at your leisure. You’ll gain a fascinating insight into how the cars are made and what their impact has been on the motoring world over the last 100 years.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 25
- Maximum age: 75 (over 75s can still participate but as a passenger)
- Minimum height: 5ft 3in
- Maximum height: 6ft 2in
- Participants must be of proportionate build, although taller passengers may be accommodated. If you have any further questions, please ask when booking
- Drivers must have held a full license for a minimum of 3 years
- You will not be able to take part in the experience if you have more that 3 points or have been previously convicted of one of the following within the last five years:
- AC: Accident offence - driving without due care and attention
- BA: Disqualified Driving
- CD: Careless Driving / Driving without reasonable consideration for other road users
- DD: Reckless/Dangerous Driving
- DR: Drink or Drugs
- IN: Insurance Offence
- UT: Theft/or Unauthorised Taking
- OR any disqualifications (including TT99 –totting up / Disqualification due to maximum penalty points)
- Drivers must be familiar with driving a manual car
- Drivers must produce their driving licence and complete a standard waiver form before commencing the Morgan driving experience (photocopies will not be accepted)
- You will not be able to participate as a driver if you fail to produce your driving licence on the day, but you may experience the Morgan as a passenger as there are no driving licence or age requirements
- Some of the Morgan vehicles are compact sports vehicle which requires a degree of flexibility and fitness to enter and exit
- Spectators are welcome, but must understand that they are unable to accompany the participant on the driving element of the experience, unless they too have purchased a voucher. One spectator can accompany the participant on the factory tour but if any additional spectators wish to attend they must also book and pay to participate. Minimum age is 5 (all under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult on the tour)

Availability
The experience is available throughout the year from Monday to Thursday inclusive, between 09.00 until 13.00, excluding bank holidays and factory shutdowns . Please contact the supplier for updated availability.
We recommend you book eight to ten weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. This is only a guideline and we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on your voucher. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the time stated in your booking confirmation.
Allow at least 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes for the factory tour and museum visit, plus another full hour for your driving experience
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
