About this experience
What do you two like to do with your spare time? How about feeding one of the planet’s biggest cats? By hand?! Head down to Paradise Wildlife Park and get to grips with what it takes to be the keeper of these magnificent beasts. You’ll feed either a lion or tiger, through a gap in the big cat’s enclosure. He or she will stretch out before you and you’ll behold their true size, feel their breath on your face and witness first hand the real beauty of nature’s magnificent felines.
You will be welcome to explore the rest of park and will receive some lovely souvenirs. Don’t forget your camera –you’ll definitely want to show everyone what you’ve been up to!

What happens on the day?
The two of you will meet and receive a health and safety briefing from your qualified zoo keeper. You will learn about the preparation of the animal’s food and make your way over to either the Lion or Tiger Enclosure for feeding time.
The animal will be in his enclosure with you safely on the other side of a (super strength) fence. You’ll place the meat through a gap and the animal will take it from you. When your thrilling encounter is over you will both receive some special souvenirs (a certificate and a goody bag - jute bag with a pen, magnet or Keyring and park literature) and are free to enjoy the rest of your day in the wildlife park.

- Minimum age: 16
- Women in the early stages of pregnancy should consult their doctor or midwife before booking
- Although spectators will not be able to accompany the voucher holder during their experience, they may pay normal admission prices to enter the park and enjoy the other attractions and animals
- Disabled access is available, for further information please discuss with the supplier at the time of booking

Availability
This experience is available on selected weekdays throughout the year. Please contact the supplier at the time of booking for updated availability.
We recommend you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Your whole experience will last for approximately 30 minutes but you are welcome to arrive early to enjoy other attractions and animals in the Park.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

“Feed the Big Cats”
We had a BRILLIANT day. Starting of with a quick form to fill in. Next meeting the keeper (Claire) that took us to the Tiger enclosure. Claire told us all about the tigers before showing us how to hold the meat and then present the meat to the tiger. So excited at this point I couldn't wait for my turn. It is fabulous being up close and feeding the tigers. You only get 30 mins with the tigers before heading out to view the rest of the zoo. I wish the time with the tigers was a little longer.

Nice reception with coffeeand biscuits provided. Also given a goody bag with nice reminders of the day including a certificate. Claire gave us a tour of the animal food preparation and storage areas. Excellent reassurance and safety briefing. Wonderful and emotional experience feeding Zuri the young lioness. Fully assured and upkeep of safety brief from Claire. Partner took a video. But wish I had some photos of the experience. Only thing missing.
