“Dim Sum Course”
An Enjoyable couple of hours. The chef was really experienced. I appreciate it was hard to coordinate 10-12 people, however I thought it might be a little more hands on through the end to end process. That being said I got a lot out of the day. A little more banter from the.chef would have been good and he was just a little softly spoken - in a calm controlled way - which made it hard to fully hear at times.
“Nice activity, bit pricey ”
My partner & I enjoyed the class and it was a fun and different activity to do but I wouldn't say it was worth the price. Some of the advertised menu we were meant to cook we didn't (squid) and you don't actually cook any whole dish yourself, bits of the recipe are given to each individual so you're not actually getting the full picture of what it would be like to cook these dishes entirely yourself. You also end up sharing all the food and I would have preference to eat what we personally made
“Dim Sum class cancelled did sushi class instead”
Thank goodness the classes are half price because I would have give 1 star if it had been £98pp. The instructor was great hence 3 stars, but this is not a hands on cooking class its watching random strangers (some of whom couldn't boil water!) and eating others food. All in all I did approx 5 mins of cooking. You don't even get to eat your own roll so I got rice with a bit of cucumber, as whoever made it ran out of salmon. Definitely don't recommend
