What could be more divine than a Cocktail and Chocolate Making Workshop? Discover what goes in to creating some of the most delicious concoctions you have ever tasted in this traditional speakeasy style workshop. This 2 hour 30 minute course will send your taste buds to new levels as you devise your own alcoholic beverages including old fashioned favourites and adventurous new recipes. Follow the techniques of the skilled bartender as they teach you how to blend, shake and muddle with the art of mixology.

Afterwards you will get your hands dirty as the Master Chocolatiers show you how to you make your own rich dark chocolate truffles sharing the tricks of adventurous combinations using herbs, spices, essential oils and chocolate. You'll then dive into dipping and decorating the smooth and rich dark chocolate truffles with decorations such as, white chocolate flakes, strawberry curls and honeycomb.

What happens on the day?

You will receive a warm welcome when you arrive at this Prohibition style workshop hidden in a city basement. Learn which flavours complement which, as well as the art of mixology. Once you have created two delicious cocktails you will move on to the art of chocolate making.

The Master Chocolatiers will show you how to make your own rich dark chocolate truffles before you pipe, dip and decorate your own creations. Once you are finished you will package your exciting flavoured creations to take home.

Minimum age: 18
Disabled access is available with prior notice, if you require this facility then please advise at the time of booking (one person is able to accompany a disabled participant without charge)
Vegetarians/Vegans can be catered for on request
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary by location

Availability

Your voucher is valid for six months from the date of issue. It is essential that you book and take your experience before this date. This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Courses run on selected weekday evenings and occasional Saturday and Sunday evenings all year round.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

You should allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes for the whole experience.

Timings may vary on the day depending on the class size; please take this into account if you are arranging transportation. Guests are requested to arrive 10 minutes before their experience is due to begin. It is requested that you don't arrive any earlier than this as there is insufficient waiting space.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Cocktails and Chocolate

What a great night. Our chocolatier, John, was an absolutely fabulous host, teaching us the craft to make the most delicious cocktails (mojitos and espresso martinis) and how to master the creation of the perfect chocolate truffle. A wonderful night with a perfect host to look after us. Thank you. Warning... the whole experience involves a lot of chocolate. Inhaling... wearing...etc. Utterly fab. Would recommend and do all over again!

A fun evening. Possibly a little long and much more focused on chocolate than cocktails. However the mix worked well and the presenters presented with enthusiasm and we left with a nice little box of chocolates we had made. Worth a go - probably better if you go with a group of friends.
