Overview
This is an impressive luxury chocolate making workshop with some of the best chocolatiers in the business and will see you Martini making, chocolate tasting, decorating and experimenting.
Create your own tasty chocolate martini cocktail before enjoying several interesting chocolate samples from around the world. You’ll then have the chance to infuse, pipe, dip and decorate yummy fresh vanilla cream truffles. After watching a preparation of home-made fudge you will be handed your own slab for shaping and decorating. There will be a range of tasty toppings such as sea salt and honeycomb, crystal, strawberry curls and white chocolate flakes. Your final task will be to create your very own uniquely flavoured giant chocolate button and package up your treats ready to take home. Enjoy your class with a glass or two of Prosecco and head home with your new skills and knowledge ready to wow your friends.

What happens on the day?
Upon arrival at the venue you will be welcomed by your chocolatier for the evening and offered a glass of chilled Prosecco.
You’ll get started with your chocolate martini making and then move on to the tasting of delicious chocolate from around the world. Next up you’ll create your giant chocolate button from big bowls of melted chocolate and experiment with your own choice of flavour. After demonstrations from master chocolatiers, you'll shape, dip and decorate fresh cream truffles along with homemade fudge. You’ll have a selection of decorations to hand as you set about creating your unique treats. Another glass of Prosecco will be offered for you to enjoy during your class.
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 18
- Disabled access is available with prior notice, if you require this facility then please advise at the time of booking (one person is able to accompany a disabled participant without charge)
- Vegetarians/Vegans can be catered for on request
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary by location
Availability
Your voucher is valid for six months from the date of issue. It is essential that you book and take your experience before this date. This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Courses run on selected weekday evenings and Saturdays all year round.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
You should allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes for the whole experience.
Timings may vary on the day depending on the class size; please take this into account if you are arranging transportation. Guests are requested to arrive 10 minutes before their experience is due to begin. It is requested that you don't arrive any earlier than this as there is insufficient waiting space.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Fun experience
Highly recommend this experience! John the host was really funny Full step by step guild through each process of the experience. You get to meet other people as if your not in a large group you sit with other couple or small groups. We made out own martinis and were given one glass of Prosecco half way through. We made a chocolate slab which you can flavour. Then we made chocolate ganache which we could decorating and flavour with spice rum if we wanted to.

So good!

Great - for something fun a different!
Myself and my boyfriend booked this before going to a bottomless brunch - great experience! It was great with the cocktails and bubbles. We learnt a lot also. A very well organised class. I would definitely recommend to couples. The staff were bubbly, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you to My Chocolate for a great class :-)

Amazing experience!
Both of us had a wonderful time. It was so much fun and we learnt a lot, not as much as we tasted however!!! Both hosts were amazing and looked after us and answered every question, I even came away with a recipe!

Fantastic boozy chocolate making for all levels
Had a fantastic time being taught the art of chocolate making by Gina and Hannah. We were on a table of 3 other couples, and all were included and mixed abilities and dietary requirements. We had a great selection of handmade chocolate to take home. Would recommend attending.

Fun filled and well taught
Our teacher was great, so enthusiastic and informative. She was super fun and made the whole event really enjoyable. The place is well set up and makes for a great atmosphere. The drinks combined with the tasks to make your own truffles and chocolate bars was just right. Would recommend to everyone.

Amazing Experience

Lovely time making and eating your own chocs
The intructor Davis was funny and made the time go quickly. Nearly 3hours of learning and making Martins and your own chocolate's. You are on a table with other people, quickly get to know each other as you have to share the chocolate bowl. Had a lovely time. Would recommend

Brilliant!
Really good fun, well organised, very "hands on", making a variety of chocolate treats and learning about chocolate. Yanthe, the workshop leader gave clear explanations/advice/ suggestions/ instructions and her demonstrations meant we knew exactly what to do. She also had us in fits of laughter throught the session and we left with chocolate -what's not to love?!

It was such a fun day!
John was an amazing teacher and apart from providing us with very informative content, the form was really light and funny. We've got so much fun! John showed us different techniques of making chocolate and how to make it look pretty. I do recommend John's class a lot! It was one of the best experiences I've got. Thank you, john!

This was my 30th Birthday Treat and i loved it! I love chocolate and this was an absolute treat. John and Brendan were amazing. John was really funny!! We made,ate and drank chocolate!! Its was yum yum yum! Thank you for an amazing evening!

Brilliant & tasty afternoon
We attended the Luxury Chocolate making workshop and thoroughly enjoyed it. Gina took us through making a tasty cocktail and explained all about tasting chocolate both milk and dark and off course we made our own truffles. Loved this workshop and would definitely recommend. An excellent experience
Took my nephew as a birthday treat. As a chocoholic, I had high expectations - which were exceeded. Jon was a great "host" and added to the enjoyment on the day. My truffles and "artisanal" chocolate slab proved edible despite the morning starting with a chocolate martini. Would definitely recommend it.

Who doesn’t love chocolate and alcohol?
Great afternoon making chocolates and a chocolate cocktail whilst drinking Prosecco. The afternoon was run by Davis who was entertaining and showed us lots about chocolate as well as keeping the Prosecco flowing. The chocolates we made were lovely and they didn’t rush us to leave.

A fun-, chocolate- and prosecco-filled afternoon!
The experience was fantastic fun from beginning to end. Davis, our chocolatier, guided us through making a chocolate martini, flavouring milk chocolate and making and decorating truffles - and then out came copious amounts of prosecco! Everyone at the event seemed to be enjoying themselves! I'd thoroughly recommend this experience!

Such a fun experience 😁
What a great day out! My two favourite things combined chocolate & alcohol! The chocolate teaching lady was absolutely lovely, so friendly & very helpful! The days split up doing various chocolate fun activities, my favourites being making a chocolate martini & lots of chocolate truffles :) everything you make you can take home!

Fantastic - great balance of learning and fun!
I bought this as a gift for a friend's birthday and attended with her on Saturday afternoon. From the start, everything was expertly planned and it meant we had a fantastic afternoon with a great balance of learning, skill and fun! our host (John) was amazing and really entertaining. All of the demos were informative but not too basic. The chocolate martini at the start was absolutely delicious and we got to make and take away a lot more than we thought! Truffles, chocolate slabs and fudge!

Fantastic day out and memorable experience
I took my Mother along to treat her for her birthday and we both loved the experience. The workshop was a little overcrowded with two hen parties (so it was fairly loud at times) but other than that, I learned a lot from listening to the host, Davis. Davis was absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable and very funny during the workshop. We were also spoiled with some glasses of prosecco (bonus). Thank you to the chocolate workshop team!

My chocolate obsession was satisfied!
Such a fun, chocolatey experience. We had the chance to play with lots of chocolate, making our own takeaway creations whilst also enjoying a chocolatey cocktail that we made ourselves at the start of the session and then two glasses of fizz to keep us going as we got very messy and covered in chocolate! Our workshop facilitator was really engaging and made the session fun and relaxed with plenty of jokes thrown in to keep us entertained. I would highly recommend this as a gift!

fantastic mother's day present!!
I have made sweets at home but never been brave enough to try chocolate. I am now inspired to have a go. It was a great day. Everyone seemed to really enjoy them selves. We made chocolate martinis, a bar of chocolate , fresh cream truffles and decorated the truffles and fudge. Super fun and engaging workshop!
We loved this workshop. It's not a technical cooking class (i.e. you're not melting or tempering chocolate or doing any advanced chocolate work) but it is a really fun creative experience. We flavoured and decorated some chocolate slabs and also made and decorated our own truffles while sipping Prosecco and a very delicious chocolate martini. Our host John was fab -- really fun and kept everyone engaged throughout. Would recommend for hen parties, birthdays, etc!
