Champagne Afternoon Tea & Thames River Cruise
This experience was a birthday present from my daughter. A warm welcome was received at the Court House Hotel, first of all with a glass of champagne shortly followed by afternoon tea, all freshly prepared. The boat trip is very well organised with a choice of destinations. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Champagne afternoon , Tea and Thames, London
Just a perfect day all round. What a fantastic way to see the spectacular sights of London from The Thames. And the voluntary tour boat guide was extremely friendly and funny, also. Worked up an appetite, which we sorted out with delicious sandwiches and cakes at the Court House Hotel. They even treated us to an extra pot of tea!!!

Lovely day
The afternoon tea was really lovely. Upgraded to the champagne option. Lovely selection of cakes, scones and sandwiches. Hotel was also very nice but quite due to covid. Boat trip from Westminster to Greenwich return was also very nice as well as interesting and informative. The gorgeous weather also helped. Would highly reccomend and would definitely do it again.

Wedding present
Wonderful afternoon tea, fresh sandwiches and was very obliging to alter the menu to cater for my dietary needs. First boat trip, extremely entertaining guide, shame that we had to exit the boat, would have been good to have stayed on the boat, to get all the venues seen. A fabulous present to have received, thanks for a great day

A very pleasant experience, despite the weather
It was easy to validate my vouchers; I booked afternoon tea with Courthouse Hotel direct and in advance, and exchanged my voucher on the day with the boat company. A special mention to Mercedes and Oksana, who made our afternoon tea special, their service was first class, as was the food and drink. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a very enjoyable afternoon in the hotel. I would definitely recommend the Experience and also the hotel.

A great outing
The Courthouse Hotel was great, I have Diabetes and they gave me a fantastic, sensitive and generous spread, from the beginning to end the staff were all lovely as was the atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed it and were totally stuffed! The boat trip ticket lasts 24 hours so we did that the next day, it lasts 1.5 hours and was relaxing and very pleasant. We had a really good time wandering around Greenwich. All in all, it made for a great day out!

Great day in London
Fantastic river cruise in the Thames. Very interesting made even more so by the commentary of one if the crew of the Millenium boat. Tea at the Courthouse hotel was very well presented which was very tasty. (Wooden stick to stir the tea didn't seem quite right). Our waitress was lovely. Great day

Tea & Cruise
Had a lovely champagne and cream tea at the Courthouse Hotel near Carnaby St which filled us up so we didn’t need another meal all day and then onto the Citycruise from Westminster Pier to Greenwich and back. Luckily the weather was good so we were able to sit on the top deck and had a good commentary about the buildings along the Thames. We didn’t disembark at Greenwich unfortunately as we needed to head back to the theatre for the evening performance. A good day out and would recommend.

Fabulous Afternoon Tea
Well what an amazing experience. The hotel was lovely and the staff amazing. The afternoon tea was top notch. Everything was homemade and exceptional. We will definitely be returning. The Courthouse Hotel is situated within the old Magistrates Court, the hotel sign is quite small and was behind a plant so you could miss it.

Nice Day in London and the Thames
Our son bought his Mum a Virgin experience for her birthday. Since we forgot about it was the reason for going in September. The afternoon tea was excellent and the hotel very nice with friendly staff. The Thames Cruise was also excellent with City Cruises. We departed Westminster Pier for Greenwich with a unexpected stop over at the Tower of London due to the river being closed for a famous boat race (not the one between Oxford and Cambridge).

A brilliant day trip to london
What a great day we had. We were very well looked after at the Courthouse hotel and the champagne afternoon tea was delicious. We then went on to spend a lovely 3 hours or so on the London River cruise. We didn't get off, remained on the boat for the full length. This trip was made something special by the nice weather and in particular the humorous commentary by the ship crew.

Afternoon tea & Thames river cruise for 2
Staff at City Cruises were excellent. When they saw we had walking sticks they took us to a seating area to wait in until it was time to board. A ramp was placed so that a lady in a wheel chair could drive on. The commentary was excellent on top deck but not audible on the lower deck. We enjoyed the cruise very much. Tea in the Carnaby bistro was excellent. We arrived early but were served early at a table near an open window much appreciated as it was so hot. Delicious tea!

A fab day out in London!
The afternoon tea was deliscious, and in a beautiful location. The boat tour was also really good, and a great way to see London with an interesting commentry. We went on a sunny bank holiday, and it's worth getting there a bit earlier to pick up the boat tickets as there was quite big queue's. Would have loved more time, to make the most of the 24hr boat ticket. Great day out!

A nice day out
The afternoon tea at the Courthouse was a lovely way to relax for an hour or so in the heart of the West End, a nice oasis of calm (and delicious sandwiches and cakes) adjacent to Liberty's and Carnaby Street. The river cruise is actually a 24 hour "Rover" ticket so all trips on City Cruises between Greenwich and Westminster were free for a 24 hour period. Slower than the tube, but far more enjoyable.

Excellent Day
First went on the boat trip from Westminster to Greenwich stayed on the boat so in total it was 3 hours. Sat on the top deck as the weather was glorious & enjoyed all the sights on both sides. The commentary was carried out by one of the boat crew, he was very funny & made it very interesting. Then off to the Courthouse which we had booked. Service was excellent and the cream tea very delicious, we were there for almost 2 hours tea pots were replenished and we didn't feel hurried at all.

Really fantastic day
Fab day! We did a spot of shopping in Liberty before realising the location for afternoon tea was right across the road! The spread was perfect; just enough for two people and the staff really catered to my mum wonderfully - offering her orange juice instead of champagne (she doesn't drink) and amending the sandwich list to suit her tastes. The boat ride was wonderful - the commentary was both informative and hilarious, and we had such a pleasant trip up to Greenwich.
