What happens on the day?
Upon arrival to your chosen venue, you’ll be sure of a warm welcome before starting out on your culinary adventure.
You’ll start by discussing the dishes to be created, before getting kitted out in your regulation disposable apron and hands washed. Once briefed, everyone will be asked to join the chef in small groups at a time, to ensure maximum knowledge is gained to recreate the recipes at home. You will get to make a selection of dishes and artisanal treats from recipes created by Ann Hood, the owner and Head Chef of Ann's Smart School of Cookery, who’s turned her passion for cooking into expert cookery lessons for all.
You'll be emailed the recipes used within 24 hours of class completion, enabling you to recreate the dishes at home.

How it works
Customer Reviews
“Wide ranging and good selection of recipes covered”
Pros: lots of different types of baking covered: sweet and savoury. Everyone got to take part as much as they wanted to. The eating was measured throughout the 4 hours. The chef was very good at explaining why. Cons: Venue was cold. Teas & Coffees were additional £1 each from a small vending type machine. The amounts of food were not the biggest although everyone was able to taste everything.
“Smart School”
The staff on the day were really helpful and informative, but what let the experience down was the booking process as this was difficult. But overall, an average day out.
