What happens on the day?
On arrival you will be greeted by your instructor who will explain the format of your experience and a full safety briefing will be given. You will begin by learning the techniques and etiquette of rock climbing, before testing for nerve and strength as you make your way up the summit.
You will break for lunch and afterwards take a 20 minute drive to the location of the abseiling tower. Abseiling on the rocks is not possible unfortunately, because of the soft nature of the rocks as it causes too much damage. Once on location, you will enjoy descending down the purpose built 10m abseiling tower and, once your confidence has grown, attempt it blindfolded if you wish. At the end of your session there will be a debriefing.
