The Yurt sleeps up to four people, but you can take your family, a group of friends, or go by yourself if you seek some time alone in the country in which to reflect. You will be camping ‘off the grid’ with this unusual yet serene two night break. The yurt has its own power supply and there is a kitchenette, shower and flushing toilet available for your convenience. There is a local town and villages a short distance away should you wish to venture into inhabited areas, or just relax and enjoy the flora and fauna

What happens on the day?
On arrival you will be greeted and shown to the yurt you will be staying in. Staying in a traditional yurt is ideally suited for both families and groups, as a private retreat and for those who would like to camp in a serene and peaceful location, with an unusual twist, in the heart of the Devon countryside. There is a small communal but well equipped kitchenette with full use of crockery, cutlery and utensils as well as a washroom complete with a shower and flushing toilet.
Totnes, the nearest town has weekly markets and a large selection of highly individual small shops along with the regular supermarkets and pharmacies. The nearby local villages of Broadhempston, Littlehempston and Staverton have a selection of pubs and inns with excellent food and local produce featured on their menus.
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: one participant must be over 18
- Your voucher is valid for a booking of up to four people - please advise numbers when booking
- Due to the rural location the experience is not suitable for wheelchair users
- Unfortunately, since the area is surrounded by grazing farmland, pets (including dogs) are not allowed on site
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
This experience is available on selected weekdays (excluding school holidays) between 15 March and 15 November.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Yurts are available from 16.00 on the day of your arrival. It is not possible to have access to the site before 16.00, so you are asked to arrive between16.00 and 17.00 when you will be greeted by a member of staff who will show you around the facilities. You will be asked to leave before 11.00 on the morning of departure.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

So far " YURT " so good
We had a Fantastic time . enjoyed our stay in the Yurt . Glamping in a different way. Great Location Nice Quiet get away perfect for a relaxing break. Our host Liz was so nice very friendly think we got ourselves a new friend .she was lovely nothing to much trouble. Staying in the Yurt was cosy and warm comfy beds .we found our way around the local area with a few directions from Liz went on a couple of bike rides (The hills were a challenge but the free ride down were even better)

Glamping at its very best
The yurt site in Devon is just perfect, you have a comfy bed in a beautiful Mongolian yurt which has a log burning stove if needed for the colder English nights High quality bedding and solar package for lights and charging phones Very well welcomed by Liz and shown around the site Very quiet very relaxing and very charming

Great little retreat.
Great place to go for some r and r. Quiet, peaceful, friendly people, and a beautiful area for walking, sight seeing, eating and drinking. Yurts are lovely warm and comfortable. Well provided for .

Two Night Yurt Break in Devon
We had a family two night break in Devon Yurt. The location was amazing and Liz the owner was very attentable and on hand if need. The weekend was very relaxing with full kitchen facilities on site. We would recommend it to friends. The location in Devon was close to the beach and all facilites.
