What happens on the day?
Before you can get started you’ll need to kit up in the safety equipment and listen to a quick briefing.
After this you’ll follow instructions from one of the expert guides and jump straight into the wet and wild action down your chosen course. Depending on the location, you may tackle challenges such as the “Cheeseblock”, the “Looping Pool”, the “Muncher” or the “Washing Machine”.
Bouncing about in these fantastic rafts, this is an experience you won't forget in a hurry. Be prepared to face steep drops, tight turns and masses of water! You won’t be alone in your adventure quest - there should be up to eight other thrill seekers in your crew.

White Water Rafting
When I first saw the course at the Nene valley White Water Centre I was very disapointed. It looked very sedate & the time on the course appeared short. However when we eventually went onto the water the instructor was very gentle for a while then very sadistic. We had over the Hour and It was really Fantastic. I do ache very much now for the next days. But great fun thoroughly recommended.

White Water Rafting is, without a doubt, simply awesome! We made our way to the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham to “cruise” down the River Trent. Do not be fooled, this is no “cruise”, more a “rodeo on water” and a great team event! The instructors are great fun and really look after you, so you feel 2safe” while riding the rapids. The main message is “don’t lose your paddle”! Get to the front of the boat for the most fun, it actually is fun being swallowed by the water, honest. You won’t be able to wipe the smile off your face, which is lucky as a photographer follows the raft to capture the moment. The hot shower at the end is the best you’ll ever have!
