Two Night Glamping Break at Stanley Villa Farm
Overview
Imagine the campfire crackling away, the low sun reflecting its amber light across a secluded lake. You’ve just poured yourself a drink. You’re camping except you never pitched a tent... Stop daydreaming and make the wistful a reality with a Two Night Glamping Break at Stanley Villa Farm.
Your lakeside accommodation is fully insulated to keep the warmth in, while your individual fire-pit can keep the chills away outside. A stone’s throw from your pod, you’ll find the fully equipped Lakeside Lodge, home to kitchen facilities and plug points. Or you can dodge the lodge altogether and cook up a storm on one of the many available BBQs – just don’t burn the sausages!
With plenty to do both on and off site and events throughout the year including carp fishing and country walks, there’s never been a better time to get your glamp on.

Excellent 2 Night Family Glamping Experience
We spent 2 nights in a Glamping Pod at Stanley Villa Farm in June 2021. It was our 1st time glamping and we had a blast. From our welcome experience at the beginning to leaving the resort the friendly staff were brilliant. Highly recommend the resort for families with children and couples looking to get away from city life and back to the wild.

Perfect countryside getaway
Living in London, it can get intense with all the pollution and the smog. Therefore coming to the rural countryside at Stanley Villa was the perfect tonic for us. The campsite is surrounded by lots of scenic countryside/fells which is perfect if you love a hike. Pods were really clean and cosy, great for an authentic glamping experience Staff were really friendly and nothing was too much for them to sort or help out with. Facilities were top notch. 100% would recommend and go again

Lovely Place Run By Even Lovelier People
We have just got back from a two-night stay here and it was really nice to get back to nature without the hassle of pitching a tent. The place itself is very picturesque and the lake is gorgeous. Everything is well maintained and the couple who run the place are always going above and beyond to make your stay as nice as possible. Highly recommended for a couple or a couple with one child; we have a 6-year old who also loved it.

Lovely weekend away
We recently stayed as a group of 4 (2 separate pods) and absolutely loved it! The site and pods are lovely and Alex and the team were so friendly and helpful. The only thing that could be improved in my opinion was the toilet/ shower facilities. There were only 3 between 20 something pods, meaning that there was often a queue (especially in the mornings and evening when people were showering).

A great family break
Hat a two night stay here last weekend. The place was lovely, pods were clean, lots of space for the children to run around, plus they provide everything from hot water bottles to toys. I will definitely be visiting again

Loved this! It was very similar to tent camping but much more comfortable. I love camping - but the fact you didn't need to put up a tent and take it down was amazing. Loved that you could make a cup of tea and a piece of toast also It is in a good location - 15 minutes from Blackpool and about 20 from Lytham St Annes. There's also a Maize Maze nearby. Only request would be for there to be more toilets and the kitchen could be a little bigger.

Family friendly atmosphere
Nice and tidy campsite and camping pod, friendly atmosphere and clientèle considerate of others. We had hoped to do the star-gazing extra but there was no availability to book this at all in 2019, even though we tried to book this in Jan 2019! That was a bit disappointing as we ended up travelling a long way (250 miles) where had we known this would probably have found somewhere closer to home. Supermarket, petrol and coffee shop all within easy reach as well, and pub not far in nearby village.

Disappointing
THE GOOD - The Pods were warm and comfortable. They were well spaced out and a large play area for children. Nice Location - handy for the coast. THE BAD - Cooking facilities inadequate for 24 pods. The wet rooms need updating (cracked sink - broken toilet flush)- floors of inappropriate material. Insufficient toilet facilities (3 for 24 units). The additional toilet block consisted of a "building site type unit " one male/ one female and the male unit door could not be closed.

Glamping
Glamping!!! more like sleeping in a shed with a battery light..although there were toilets ..showers and lodge facilties the areas was poorly maintained and could be a lot cleaner..the ground around the pods were overgrown with weeds and brambles..not a very welcoming meet and greet a case of your in number ? get on with it .. we have clamped before and had much better sites with electricity and even TV.. and for the same price per night !!
